Yes, I accept the Safeguarding Policy.
Our wellbeing warriors are a group of children trained in the 5 ways of wellbeing. These children work alongside Mr. Craig by promoting the importance of taking care of our mental health and wellbeing while in school. The children will be role models around school and will help other children by listening to problems, promote the 5 ways of wellbeing in school and helping to restore friendships when people have a falling out. They will also work to ensure that no one is lonely at breaks/lunch and will aid children in finding someone to play with. When a child is supported by a wellbeing warrior they will receive a card from them. The child will then return this card to their class teacher and will have the opportunity to discuss what the wellbeing warrior helped them with. Our aim is for all our children to have health bodies and healthy minds which will lead to a happy life.
